Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"GOOD place for traditional dinning. Nice selection of vegitables and classic burgers, chicken and meats. Give them a big thimbs up for their fried squash. Also you get a big glass of sweet tea , not one of those tiny glasses."
"Great choices and fabulous prices! I got the breakfast special and will not quote the price because you wouldn't believe me... I had the TURKEY Sausage and they will do anything like from livermush to fish to chicken livers (grilled or fried) The waitresses are friendly and efficient and lots of customers are coming and going at prime times. The Myth The Legend lives on the opposite side of town but if I didn't... This would be my go to of choice!"
"This is a nice, homey restaurant with good food. My tossed salad was basic, but the lettuce was nice and crunchy, with housemadr Thousand Island and blue cheese (there could have been more blue cheese). I ordered the fried flounder and shrimp, with fries and a salad. The fish was lightly breaded and not at all greasy. The shrimp were small and not worth the calories. I'd order the fish again, in a heartbeat! I love steak fries. I ordered them "crispy" and they ere. The hamburger was well prepared, had a good flavor and I'd order it again...and the onion rings, too! This was our first time, and we'll return, for sure."
"Parking lot was packed but we were seated right away. Soup and salad were very good. I got the chopped sirloin, which was over-cooked. I should have asked for the gravy on the side as I didn’t like the taste. My boyfriend had breakfast- he said his was good. Service was friendly. We’ll be back."
"Staff is good. Got us to our seats at a nice time. Wait for food was good too. Didn't starve being patient. Food was tasty and fresh. Wish the fries were a bit more on the hotter side, but the seasoning made up for it. Tenders were crispy and juicy, worth another round. If you are near or in the Pineville area looking for a nice local spot for breakfast/brunch, give this spot a try."
"Excellent breakfast restaurant! My husband got the ribeye and eggs, the meat was very tender and my eggs Benedict had an excellent hollandaise sauce. I Meant to take pictures but the food was too delicious and I dug right in ooops. Lucy was our server and she was beyond amazing! My family and I will definitely be returning"
"This restaurant was a nice local spot, I visited while my car was being serviced. I had the fried bologna and egg sandwich with home fries, my sister had the eggs benedict. Our waitress Tara was very pleasant and attentive, the food was very good and flavorful. The next time I'm on this side of town, I look forward to visiting here again."
"Stopped in for a good breakfast. When I arrived a lady seated me. They place was fairly busy. It did take a while for a server to finally come to the table but I understood. My food came and most everything was well prepared. The biscuit was very hard and dry. Could've been sitting for a while. The rest was really good. Pricing is fair but fyi on pancakes...a short stack is 6.25 (two) but a single pancake is 2.35. much better value to get 1 pancake and the breakt combo. Overall the restaurant is clean and the people were friendly. May have been short staffed today. Not sure. Food was good and I'd give them another try."
